Ketelfield House, Suffolk

Fieldwork has been instructed to carefully restore Ketelfield House, Suffolk and design the addition of a contemporary and quality designed pool to the grounds.

Ketelfield House is a Grade 2 listed home designed by architects Peter Aldington and John Craig in 1974, the former being notable for having more of his houses listed by English Heritage than any other post war architect. With influence taken from the classic Farnsworth House by Mies van der Rohe in Illinois, USA, Ketelfield House is conceived as a steel-framed glass pavilion floating in the landscape.

Fieldwork have taken a sensitive approach to the pool design to integrate this into the landscape and complement the unique character of the building and surroundings.
